Item Policy
What can and cannot travel through Airceleo, and the rules every sender and traveler agrees to before an item moves.
Effective
Contents
This Item Policy ("Policy") forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Airceleo ("we," "us," or "our"). It governs every item that any user offers, accepts, transports, or receives through the Airceleo platform, including our mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating a delivery request, listing flight capacity, accepting a match, or otherwise using the Platform, you represent and warrant that the items you intend to carry or send fully comply with this Policy and with all applicable export, import, customs, aviation safety, and dangerous-goods laws of the country of origin, the country of destination, and every transit jurisdiction.
Airceleo is a coordination platform only. It is not a courier, freight forwarder, customs broker, or transportation provider, and it does not at any point take possession, custody, or control of any item.
01Allowed Items
The following categories may be carried through the Platform without special handling, provided each individual item is lawful, properly packaged, and accurately described to the matched traveler before payment is funded. All food and agricultural items, regardless of category, must be declared to customs authorities at the destination; failure to declare may result in fines, confiscation, or refusal of entry.
- Clothes, footwear, and personal wear that is unworn or freshly laundered.
- Dry, factory-sealed packaged snacks, confectionery, spices, and pickles, provided they comply with the destination country's food import rules and are declared at customs.
- Wired consumer accessories such as cables, chargers without batteries, headphones, and adapters.
- Documents, photographs, books, and printed paper not subject to export control.
- Unopened consumer goods and ordinary gifts of low declared value.
Any allowed item may still be refused at the discretion of the traveler, customs authorities, or the operating airline. Acceptance on the Platform does not constitute clearance for international transport.
02Restricted Items (Special Handling Required)
The following categories are conditionally permitted only when every applicable airline, dangerous-goods, and customs requirement is satisfied. The sender bears sole responsibility for verifying these conditions before the item changes hands; the traveler bears sole responsibility for refusing any item that cannot be safely or lawfully carried.
2.1 Liquids, Gels, Aerosols, and Pastes
- Carry-on: each container must not exceed 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) and must fit inside a single transparent, resealable one-litre bag, in line with TSA, DGCA, and ICAO Annex 17 guidance.
- Checked baggage: subject to the operating airline's liquid limits and any applicable hazardous-materials rules.
2.2 Powders on US-bound Carry-on
- For flights bound to the United States, powder-like substances in containers of 350 g (12 oz) or more may be subject to additional screening at the carry-on checkpoint and, in some cases, may be required to travel in checked baggage instead.
- This rule is procedural and applies regardless of whether the contents are food, cosmetics, or another lawful category.
- Sealed retail packaging, original labels, and a declaration at customs ease screening; loose powders in unmarked containers are routinely refused.
2.3 Electronics with Built-in Lithium Batteries
- Devices containing built-in lithium batteries (such as wireless headphones or small gadgets) must be fully disclosed in the item description during listing creation.
- Devices containing batteries should be powered off and protected from accidental activation.
- Damaged, recalled, or swollen batteries may not be carried under any circumstances.
2.4 Tools, Sporting, and Kitchen Items
- Sharp objects, blades, scissors over 6 cm, screwdrivers over 7 cm, and similar tools must be packed in checked baggage only.
- Cooking gas cylinders, pressure vessels, and items containing fuel residue may not be carried.
- Sporting equipment such as cricket bats, golf clubs, or hockey sticks must be checked, not carried into the cabin.
Where this Policy and a more restrictive airline, airport, or government rule conflict, the more restrictive rule prevails.
03Strictly Prohibited Items
The following items are absolutely prohibited from being requested, listed, accepted, carried, handed off, or received through the Platform under any circumstance. Attempting to send or carry any prohibited item will result in immediate cancellation of the transaction, forfeiture of any platform fees paid, suspension or permanent termination of the offending user's account, and, where appropriate, referral of the matter to law enforcement and customs authorities in India, the United States, and any other relevant jurisdiction.

Senders are responsible for accurately declaring the nature and value of each item; understatement to circumvent this restriction is itself a breach of this Policy and grounds for the enforcement actions in Section 6.
3.6 Counterfeit, Unlawful, and Sanctioned Goods
- Counterfeit, pirated, or trademark-infringing goods.
- Goods originating from, or destined to, jurisdictions or persons subject to sanctions enforced by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations, or the Government of India.

- Truthfully declare carried items to customs authorities at destination.
- Hand the items over only to the verified receiver upon successful entry of the delivery one-time password (OTP).

07Liability Disclaimer
Airceleo does not inspect, certify, insure, or guarantee the lawfulness, safety, or quality of any item exchanged through the Platform. Each user assumes full and sole liability for the items that user offers, accepts, transports, hands off, or receives. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Airceleo disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, fine, penalty, seizure, prosecution, injury, or death arising directly or indirectly from any item carried or attempted to be carried in violation of this Policy or applicable law.
